Grant U. Teets, 64 of Salem passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at his home. Grant was born May 17, 1949 in Jewett, son of Pete Stover and Peggy (Fulton) Stover. He married Helen McCarthy on Feburary 14, 1992 in Centralia and she survives in Salem.
In addition to his wife of 21 years, he is also survived by one son: Eric U. Teets of Sumner; four step-sons: Robert Manley and special friend Sandy of Centralia, John Manley and wife Lynn of Kentucky and Billy Manley and wife Maggie of New Mexico and Niel Bryant; three step-daughters: Mary Lane and special friend Brian of Odin, Leatha Lane and husband Dean of Mt. Vernon and Sherry Bryant of Centralia; 27 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernie Teets and wife Pat of Greenville several nieces, nephews and 3 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Gracie Teets. Mr. Teets enjoyed fishing, yard work, and sitting at the picnic table at home watching the birds. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
