Grant B. Hall, 89, of Boise, passed away peacefully at his home on December 2, 2010.

He grew up on the family farm in Fairview. When he was young he would help his mother with the cooking and as he grew older he worked on the farm. He also enjoyed playing sports.

Grant served in the marines during World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War 1173.

On September 1, 1946, he married the love of his life, Deane Eames. In August 1964, they were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS temple for time and all eternity. They have four children, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He loved his family and enjoyed working, playing, laughing and teasing them. He was always busy and had a meticulous yard and garden. They had many friends who they enjoyed associating with through the years.

Grant was preceded in death by: his parents; eight siblings, Dorothy, Oneta, Verna, Byron, Herman, Hershel, Dallas, and Dennis; and son, Kent Hall. He is survived by sister, Mardene Hall of Preston; wife, Deane Hall of Boise; daughters, Karen Ryals of Caldwell and Deborah Hall of Boise; son, Wade (Joan) Hall of Boise; five grandchildren, Michele Ryals, Shaun (Kristie) Ryals, David (Telena) Hall, Natricia (Scott) Christopherson, Kimberly (Jacob) Butterfield; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
