Grady Eugene “Gene” Trawick
November 24, 1939 – August 24, 2022
Gene was born November 24, 1939, in Fort Deposit, Alabama to Grady and Ruby (Folds) Trawick. The family moved to Lakeland, Florida in his teenage years. A few years following high school graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and later served in Vietnam. He was united in marriage to Janice (Morris) Trawick on July 27, 1963. Gene worked for over 50 years at Kaiser Chemicals (KC Industries).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Ruby, and his wife, Janice.
He is survived in death by his daughters, Melissa (Keith) Goodman of St. Johns, FL., Andrea (Rinky) Anderson of Lakeland, FL., his son Kenneth Trawick of Lakeland, FL.; his sister Margaret (Reggie) Tullis of Brentwood, TN, and brother Ben (Sandra) Trawick of Lake Wales, FL.; his seven grandchildren Brandon (Destiny) Anderson, Danielle (Justin) Parker, Kaitlyn (Josh) Jordan, Kyle (Shelby) Goodman, Alexa Anderson, Ayden Trawick, and Ava Trawick; his four great grandchildren Elyse Parker, Nixon Parker, Harper Anderson, and Baby Jordan on the way.
