Minster Gracy Lee Devone was born on March 29, 1953, to Hazel Borden and the late J. W. Underwood. She graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1971.
On January 7, 1972, she met and married the love of her life, Mr. Bobby Ray Devone. Preceding her in death is one brother, Malachi Baggett.
Minister Gracy joined Union Freewill Baptist Church at our early age. She later joined House of Praise Church in Newton Grove under the leadership of Apostle Eva Darden, where she is currently a member and has been for approximately 30 years
