She had resided at St. Joseph’s Care Center for several years.

Grace E. Wolfe was born May 16, 1913 in Denison Iowa to Frank and Maude McBride. She was adopted at birth by William and Alma Matlack. She married Wayne B. Wolfe, March16, 1932 in Elk Point, S.D.

They moved to Isle, MN, and then to Norfolk, NE in 1943. She worked as a bookkeeper at Servall Towel and Linen Co. for 40 years.

Christened with the name Grace she gave and shared grace with everyone she met.

Grace loved people and her door was always open with coffee and cookies on the table. She liked working crossword puzzles, loved all animals, especially dogs, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She really enjoyed a good joke, especially church bloopers.

She was an active member of Northern Heights Baptist Church where she was baptised by her son in law, Pastor Dave Sellars.

Survivors include, one daughter-in-law, Jeanie Wolfe Sellars of Norfolk; three grandsons; Bill Wolfe of Kansas City, MO, Pat Wolfe of Lafayette, CO, Jay Wolfe and wife, Sandy of Norfolk; three great grandchildren; Jade Lafleur and husband, Bill of Norfolk; Taylor Wolfe of Chicago, IL, Jordan Wolfe of Lincoln NE, Whitney Wolfe of Denver, CO, Layne Wolfe and wife Emily of Firestone, CO, three great-great-grandchildren, Knox and Lola Lafluer of Norfolk, and Noah Wolfe of Firestone CO.

She is also survived by one biological sister, found after 52 years, of absence, Marilyn Dupley and Husband Don of Omaha, NE and one niece Marjorie Dupley of Omaha.

One very special friend and care taker, Mike Miller.

Grace was preceded in death by one son, Warren Wolfe, her parents, and two infant brothers.
