Grace Marie Smith
Grace Marie LeGrand Smith passed away peacefully, on April 21, 2017 in South Jordan, Utah. Grace lived 88 years, blessing the lives of her family and friends with her kindness, laughter and love.
She was born May 23, 1928 in Cheyenne Wyoming, to Charles and Helena Matthews. She spent her childhood in Kemmerer, Wyoming.
She married Merele Woodson LeGrand on November 29, 1946 and had two sons, Merele Laird and Brad Matthew. Together they enjoyed many happy years until Merele’s passing in 1972.
Grace was then able to love and raise two more sons, Steve and Tom Smith when she married Tatterson W. Smith on March 10, 1976. They also enjoyed many happy years together until his passing in 2007.
Grace lived a long and active life mostly in Montpelier, Idaho.
