Judy Hancock, 84, of Scottsdale AZ. went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 22, 2010. She passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Valley, Sherman Home, with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. She was born in Jacksonville, FL. to Hobson and Mamie Denmark, the youngest of 6 children. When she was a young girl her family moved to California where she would meet the love of her life, Gene Hancock. At 16, she pointed out the handsome, young man across the street to her stepmother and said, I’m going to marry him one day. After a four month courtship Gene and Judy were married in Las Vegas, NV on Aug. 2nd 1942 before residing in AZ where their 68 year journey began. Along with her husband, a third generation Arizonan they founded Cavalier Homes where she handled the interior design. This was an incredible partnership for many years. When they sold the company they built their dream home.
