Grace “Ivy” Payne, 81, passed away October 8, 2012 in Williamsburg, CO. She was born March 29, 1931 in Wakefield, Kansas to Jessie R. and Della M. (Shaner) Dodds. Ivy was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Payne and to this union six children were born. He preceded her in death after 56 years of marriage. She was a Camp Fire leader, an incredible cake decorator, and loved to babysit. Other hobbies Ivy enjoyed were motorcycle riding, watching drag racing at Pueblo Motorsports Park, canning, and crocheting. She also loved the mountains, where she enjoyed camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, and hunted arrowheads. Ivy is survived by her children, Bob (Robyne) Payne, Terry (Penny) Payne, Brenda (Darcy) Anderson, Kenton (Julie) Payne, Kenna (Kurt) Hammel, and Neal (Sheriann) Payne; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
