Grace Isabelle Thomas, 92, of Byron, IL passed away on August 26, 2018, at Generations at Neighbors in Byron, IL.
She was born April 19, 1926, in Williamsfield, IL to Loren and Susie (Kimler) Spencer. She was a longtime resident of Franklin Grove and a member of Franklin Grove United Methodist Church. She loved stamp collecting and was a leaf collector as well. She also loved to watch the Cubs whenever they were on.
Grace is survived by 6 children, Donald Wayne (Charlotte) Huber of Oswego, IL, Jackie Lee (Leanne) Huber of Sun Prairie, WI, William Alan (Jill) Huber of Stillman Valley, IL, Susan Louise (Terry) Mattes of Dixon, IL, Jeffrey Paul (Cathy) Huber of Byron, IL and Gloria Ann (Mike) Ennenbach of Byron, IL; 1 daughter-in-law, Caryn (Doug) Fisher of Rochelle, IL; 3 sisters, Louise Mackie, Lorna (Gene) Yelm and Mary Lou (Richard) Baird, all of Williamsfield, IL; 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both her parents; her spouse, Samuel Thomas; 1 son, Robert Loren Huber; 1 sister, Theda Dennison; 1 brother in infancy; 1 granddaughter; and 1 grandson.
