Grace Irene Witche Ralston, 85, Pendleton, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Rawlins House in Pendleton following a long illness. Grace She was known by many as Irene, was born August 18, 1920, in Portland, the only child to Ray and Letha Zerabaugh Witche.
She was raised and spent her adult life in Anderson. A 1937 graduate of Anderson High School, Grace was a homemaker as well as a retiree from St. John?s Health System. She was an active member of Central Wesleyan Church and was recognized for her work with the youth in the church.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Ralston, and two infant sons, David and Stephen.
Survivors include 2 sons, George & wife Sandra Ralston and John & wife Vickie Ralston, and one daughter, Tamara & husband David Bridges. Other survivors include 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren as well as 2 nephews.
