Grace Cappella died at BIDH-Plymouth of cardiac arrest and complications from advanced dementia on October 16, 2021. She was 95 years old. Born in 1926, Grace was a lifelong Plymouth resident. She grew up in Manomet. After marring her husband, Allen Cappella, she moved to Obery Street where she lived for 75 years until her death. Grace worked many years at the gift shop of the former Plimoth Plantation (now Plimoth Patuxet Museums). She was an avid reader and wonderful cook, noted for her fabulous lasagna and terrific Indian Pudding. Grace was also involved with the Little League field on Nook Road being established. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Allen Cappella and her son, William Cappella. She is survived by her son; Allen David Cappella; daughter-in-law, Alison Louise Cappella; and granddaughter, Constance Grace Cappella. Family and friends will miss her smile and kind ways.
