Arendt, Grace M. Arendt, age 86, of Trumbull, died May 30, 2005 in Ashlar of Newtown. Mrs. Arendt was born in Shady, N.Y. and was a longtime Trumbull resident. She worked for Remington Arms during WWII testing and firing bullets. She later worked as a cashier for Grand Union in Stratford. Mrs. Arendt was a founding member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she taught vacation Bible School and was a member of the choir. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph Arendt. Survivors include three sons, Rudolph Charles and his wife, Cynthia Jane Arendt , Raymond David and his wife, Cheryl Jeanne Arendt, all of Oxford, and Eugene Edward and his wife, Pat Arendt of Carlsbad, CA, two daughters, Barbara Lorraine Arendt of Southbury, and Evelyn Grace and her husband, Bob Theriault of Tucson, AZ, seven grandchildren, John Arendt, Dr. David Arendt, Amanda Kersey, Jeanne Malota, Matthew Fowler, Chistopher Theriault , and Emily Claire Arendt , five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
