Gordon H. Davis, 79, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 11:13 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021, in Memorial Hospital. Gordon was born on February 7, 1941 in LaPorte, IN to Harold Virgil and Dorothy (Fanselow) Davis.  On October 22, 1960, in South Bend, this Harley-riding, leather jacket-wearing man married the love of his life, Rosemary C. Working, who survives. Gordon is survived by his brother-in-law, Norman Working, to whom he was very close. He is also survived by two daughters, Kathy (Robert) Bunker of South Bend, Indiana and Kim (Brian Baker) Davis of Grovertown, Indiana; two granddaughters, Jessica (J.D.) Lane and Sarah (Brandon) Czosnowski; four great-grandsons, Carter James Lane, Jase Gordon Lane, Knox Davis Lane, and Nash Colton Lane; several nieces and nephews, including Bob (Becky) Davis, who he considered a son. Gordon was preceded in death by two brothers, Sonny and Robert Davis. He had been employed as a welder with Clark Equipment and retired from North American Signs. Gordon was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
