Gordon Kay Gover, 85, of Great Falls, passed away Nov. 6, of an undisclosed cause, at a local care facility.
Gordon was born Sept. 14, 1927 in Manhattan, MT, to William and Esther (Byers) Gover. After he graduated high school he joined the Army and served 1950-1952 in the Korean War. He was also a Merchant Marine. In 1955, He married Patty Ann Hollard and they stayed married until her death Dec. 6, 1999. He worked construction most of his life working at Peter Kiewit and Son, United Materials, Montana Sand and Gravel, and McLaughlin Construction.
Gordon is survived by his daughters Cheryl (Rod) Chaon and Shirley Lankford both of Great Falls; grandchildren Paul (Ashley), Eric (Hayley), Amy, and Jordann; and is faithful dog “Remi”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Patty Ann; infant daughter Linda Kay, son-in-law Gary W. Lankford; two brothers; and one sister.
