Gordon E. Trayes, Jr. (Nup), of Lenni, passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2022, at the age of 85. Gordon was an avid fisherman and hunter for most of his life. He worked as an over-the-road trucker before changing to roofing, so he could spend more time at home with his growing was predeceased by his parents Gordon & Ethel Trayes, his son Gordon “Eddy” Trayes, III, his grandson Matthew Hagis, & his siblings Robert Trayes & Susan Trayes. Gordon (Nup) was the devoted husband of Irene (nee Lewis) for over 67 years. Soul mates. Their love was a journey starting at forever, ending at never. Loving father of Patricia (Charles) Zernell, Debra (Nicholas) Hagis, & Sharon Martin (William Stamp). He is also survived by:9 grandchildren – Valarie Zernell, Paula Zernell, Brenda Zernell, Melanie Zernell, Nicholas G. Hagis, Jr. (Carolyn McNish), Tamara Jones (Robert), Ashley Martin (Dave Reilly), John Martin, Jr., & Brianna Martin; 7 great grandsons – Anthony Lee, Dominic Zernell-Lugo, Kaleb Pyant, Nicholas E. Hagis, Christian Hagis, Cameron Jones, & Colin Jones. Brother of Freda Miller & Richard Trayes, both of California.
