Monson- Gordon W. Doss, 58 of Bumstead Road died suddenly, Friday August 8, 2008 at his home after a 16 year battle with heart disease. Born in Springfield to the late Wayne S. and Elizabeth (Chandler) Doss he has been a resident of Monson since 1986. Gordon was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School and attended Springfield College. He retired from Baystate Health Systems in 2004 as an EMT. He served in the US Army for two tours serving in Vietnam and Germany where he was also in the medical field.
