Gordon Calvin Trouth 92, died on October 19, 2020. He lived in Emma Missouri. He was born on April 25, 1928 in Minnesota. He was married to Evelyn was Roslansky. He was a husband, father, grandfather and a great grandfather.
In 1946 Gordon enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany. While living in Blue Earth Minnesota, he owned his own Standard gas station. In later years he moved to Minnetonka, Minnesota, and went on to being a mechanic at various dealerships in Minnesota and Colorado.
Gordon raised three sons and four daughters in Minnesota. In 1969 he moved the family to Denver, Colorado. While in Colorado, Gordon ran his own lawn care business where he employed most of his children and their friends. It was a great summer job, which gave us all a good work ethic. While in Minnesota, the family grew vegetables in a 5 acre garden in which he enlisted his kids to do the weeding, harvesting and selling the vegetables we had grown.
Hunting, watching sports on TV and fishing were also things he love to do. He was also good at teaching his children these fun hobbies.
He moved to San Diego and started a mini donut trailer in which he went early in the morning to the flea market to sell fresh donuts, warm and hot coffee to his customers. Other hobbies Gordon enjoyed were cooking, playing cards, finding treasures at the flea market and buying and selling real estate.
Gordon is survived by one brother Danny Trouth; two sisters Susy Smith and Betty Jean Trajaden; three sons Greg Trouth, Brian Trouth and Brad Trouth; four daughters Julie Reynolds, Mary Smith, Therese Lewis and Martha Berry; three grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Gordon is survived by his dear friend and care giver of 20 years, Joyce Chiders. Gordon is predeceased by his brother Jim Trouth.
Gordon Trouth is remembered for his great sense of humor and his love of teasing.
