HAVERHILL – Gordon Allan Parsons, 57, was called home to Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, on January 12, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Gordon was born in Everett, MA on May 27, 1964 to his parents Florence (Noftle) & Allan Parsons. On February 25th, 1989 Gordon married Robin (Lemarie) and they had 3 beloved daughters who were his greatest treasure. Gordon loved Jesus and served him with all his heart and soul his whole life. He was so proud and happy to have raised his girls to love the Lord and know there is hope in Jesus to get us through this life.
Gordon’s favorite passages of scripture were Proverbs 3:5-6 & Psalms 91 as they read:

“Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

“Psalms 91:1-4 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

Gordon passed while his wife Robin was reading Psalms 91 to him.
Although our hearts are broken that he left us we are not broken because of the hope we have in Jesus! The faith he taught us will live on forever until we see him again one day. It’s not a goodbye, it is a “see you later!”

Gordon is preceded in death and reunited in Heaven with his mom, Florence Parsons, and his 3 grandchildren who went to be with Jesus prior to birth.

He waits to be reunited with his father Allan Parsons, wife Robin (Lemarie) Parsons. His daughter Sarah and Cody Milas. His daughter Emily and Jared Carline. His daughter Grace Parsons. His 2 grandchildren Noelle Florence and Jameson Gordon Carline.

Gordon will be missed by many family members including; His brother Ronald and wife Judith Parsons, His twin brother Wes and his wife Christine Parsons. As well as several nieces and nephews: Jessica Leigh Brooks and husband Andrew, Jacob Parsons, Ronnie Parsons and wife Jonni, Timothy Parsons, Brooke Lemarie, Melinda Donahue, Jim Donahue, Michelle Cote, Christopher Lemarie and Laura Burke.

Gordon was always surrounded by friends and some of his best friends include Guy Lento, Neil Senfleben, Dana Dreher, Shawn Fernald, Jeff Griffin, and Dan Donahue. Gordons dearest friends include Heidi Damiano-Yell and Cathy Lento. And Gordons furry best friend who never left his side at home, Ariel.

As a younger man after graduating from Whittier Technical School in 1982, Gordon worked as a machinist. He then delivered papers and smiles with The Eagle Tribune for the past 20 years, treasuring the connections he made during that time.

In all of this pain and hurt we have HOPE BECAUSE OF THE FINISHED WORK OF JESUS ON THE CROSS. Disease never wins in the end because in CHRIST we are more than overcomers!
