Gordon was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran with two Purple Hearts and several other medals including The Air Medal and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. He served eight and a half years with The United States Army.
While on R&R in Australia, he met Lynn Nicholson. He knew she was his soul mate after just two hours and they were married two weeks later. They shared 52 years together and were blessed with three daughters.
Gordon was an avid bowler, golfer, and pilot and a volunteer firefighter for the town of Vernon. He was a real estate broker for over 40 years working side-by-side with his brother Don and his extended work family at D.W. Fish Real Estate.
Gordon was preceded in death by his father William and is survived by his mother Dorothy; wife Lynn; daughters Catherine Fish and her fiancé Raymond Guimond, Karen Fish Saxton, Patricia O’Sullivan and her husband Timothy; son-in-law Jeffrey Saxton; four grandchildren; Luke, Alexandra, Riley, and Taylor. He also leaves his brothers Richard, Donald, Doug, Randall, Russell and their families.
