Goldie Wheeler, 91, of O’Fallon, IL, passed away January 24, 2013 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born May 2, 1921 in Lenzburg, IL, she was a long time resident of Rantoul, IL before moving to O’Fallon in 2006. Goldie worked 28 years as a clerk at the Hallmark store in Rantoul, IL.
She attended the First United Methodist Church of Rantoul . She enjoyed spending time with her family and being surrounded by her beloved pets. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Wheeler; parents Raphel and Anna Crunelle; a brother, “Red” Crunelle ; and her sisters Elsie Thierrey and Vera Kugler.
Goldie is survived by her children, Cheri Mayberry of O’Fallon, IL; Jeff Wheeler and Tim Wheeler, both of Rantoul, IL; Jeanine “Jay” Swett of O’Fallon, IL; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
