Mr. Farrar, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the age of sixty-six. He worked in the field of construction and even spent some time working offshore. Mr. Farrar enjoyed squirrel and rabbit hunting, and also enjoyed boxing when he was younger. He was known as fighter, loving his family fiercely. He will be well missed.
Mr. Farrar is survived by his wife of forty years, Sharon Farrar; children, Christy Farrar Pepper, Raymond Joseph “Joey” Farrar, Amanda Farrar, and Glynn “Bubba” Farrar, Jr and Tiffany; siblings, James Farrar, Elaine Crenshaw and husband Larry, Ricky Farrar and wife Diane, David Farrar and wife Cindy, and Gloria McDowell and husband Carlton; grandchildren, Bronwyn Pepper, Aaron Farrar, Kayla Nelson, Jenna “Laylay” Farrar, Hanna Farrar, Kayda Petty, Kayden Farrar, and Jonah Cross Farrar; great grandchildren, Stone Nelson, Amelia Nelson, Avery Farrar, A.J. Farrar, and Waylon Chase; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Ruth Farrar; brother, Gary Farrar; sisters, Carol Silmon and Sue Jackson; son-in-law, Lee Petty.
