Glynn Marlan Spurgeon, 83 of Centralia, passed away, Monday, June 22, 2015 at Centralia Fireside House. He was born February 8, 1932 in Centralia, son of Lloyd Spurgeon and Gwendolyn (Derrington) Spurgeon. He is survived by a half sister, Jane Clark and husband Bob of Carlyle; special friend, Beverly Will of Centralia. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Spurgeon.
Glynn served in the U.S. Navy for eight years. He graduated from Centralia High School and the University of Colorado with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He worked as a Real Estate Broker for 40 years. Glynn was a member of the Centralia Elks Lodge 493, V.F.W. Post 2055, and the First Christian Church in Centralia. He was an avid golf player. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
