On March 6, 2017, Gloria Phyllis Lynch (nee Bouthilette), passed away in Catonsville, MD. She was born March 4, 1914 in Lowell, MA – one of seven children.
Gloria served in US Navy as a pre-World War II Nurse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. After the Navy, she married Walter Lynch. The couple lived in Irvington, New Jersey, Bay Shore, New York, Richmond, Virginia and Arnold, Maryland, all the time serving as a Registered Nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, of over 52 years.
She is survived by her two children, Peter Lynch and his spouse, Lynn Wales Lynch of Callawassie Island, South Carolina and her daughter, Mary Sue Baker and her spouse, Richard Baker of Severn, Maryland; three grandchildren, Katherine Lynch Hammons (Bret) of Alpharetta, Ga, Michael Sean Lynch (Elena) of Satellite Beach, FL and Erin Lynch Wiseman (Jessie) of Mount Pleasant, SC. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Grayson, and Michael Hammons, Gavin and Noah Lynch and Lily, Benjamin, and Luke Wiseman.
