Gloria Mills, age 82, of Chatsworth, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 3, 2016. She was born on October 2, 1933 in Graceville, Florida to Macon and Jessie Brock. Gloria was a long time member of Central Community Church in Chatsworth. She was always thinking of others and striving to draw closer to her savior Jesus Christ. Daily reading his word and nights kneeling in prayer calling out the names of lost souls she longed to see accept him as their savior. She had a servant’s heart and loved unconditionally no matter the circumstances. She loved her family and showed it in her actions as well as words. What a legacy she has left us. We are all richer from knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bobby Gene (Daddy Bob) Mills; her parents, Macon and Jessie Brock; brothers, Emlon Brock, Junior Brock, Rex Brock and Tim Brock; and a sister, Reba Slater. She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Mike Mills of Chatsworth, Greg and Brenda Mills of Chatsworth; daughter and son in law, Vicki and Randall Winkler of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Adam and Sha Winkler, Amber and Drew Green, Amanda Winkler, Macon Mills, Sydney and Aaron Thomason, Stasha and Brandon Wright, Kevin Mills, Brandon and Karen Jackson; great grandchildren, Bayleigh Winkler, Pate Winkler, Magnolia Grey Winkler, Sadie Mae Green, Brody Wright, Cade Wright, Madison Mills, Katie Mills and Grayson Jackson.
