Gloria Giblen Stack died peacefully Friday, July 31, 2015 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Stack was born February 1, 1920 the daughter of the William and Gaynell (Runte) Giblen. In 1949 she was married to Edward Joseph Stack, Sr. who pre-deceased her. She was also pre-deceased by a daughter, Eileen Margaret Stack and a sister Gaynell Gilben Hilbert.
Mrs. Stack was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA until being displaced to TN following Hurricane Katrina. In New Orleans she was a parishioner at St.
While in TN she was a resident of Asbury Place Retirement Community where she volunteered as the assistant Librarian and attended St.
Survivors include her sons Edward J. Stack, Jr. and wife Janice of Ledyard, CT, Gary M. Stack of Blountville, TN, grandchildren Christopher Stack and his wife Colleen and Heidi Lankau and her husband, John. She had one great-grandaughter, Ella Stack. Mrs. Stack is also survived by a half-sister, Anna Lou Bergeron of New Orleans, LA.
