Gloria Mary Schuyler 90, of Woodbury, Connecticut, died May 30, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of the late Ackley C. (“John”) Schuyler. Gloria was born August 10, 1921 in Chelsea, Massachusetts, daughter of Chester and Anita Callero (nee Leveroni). Gloria was graduated from high school in Everett, Massachusetts and attended the New England Conservatory of Music. During the postwar years, she worked at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and MGM Studios in Los Angeles and thereafter always keenly recalled her time amongst the stars of the day. However, she was most fond of her New England roots and later days as a New Yorker.
