Gloria Plaisted Beatty, 88 of Caldwell, passed away peacefully at Autumn Wind Assisted Living in Caldwell on Monday, November 14, 2011.
Gloria Mather was born the youngest of six children on July 4, 1923 in Buffalo, Wyoming in the Mather family home. They moved to Portland, Oregon where Gloria attended school and later married Jay Plaisted. She lived in Portland until 1960 when she moved to Caldwell, Idaho with her three young sons. She worked for Valley Floral and King Brown Gardens as a florist for many years.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, James; three brothers, Alvin Mather, Eugene Mather and Deming Mather; and two sisters, Marilyn Kelly and Dorothy Kensington.
The family would like to thank the staff at Autumn Wind and Heart ‘n’ Home Hospice for their devoted care and friendship they bestowed on our mom and grandmother.
