Gloria Josephine Obst became an angel beside the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at her home. She had lived a full life for 81 years. Born Gloria Josephine Schrempp to William and Sophie on a farm off Hwy 46 between Boerne and Bergheim, she grew up in the farming community of Boerne as most did in the 1930″s. Some of her favorite stories were of hauling water from the creek on the old flatbed wagon and burning cactus for the animals to eat during the winter.
