Gloria Venison was born in Washington, D.C. on March 30, 1945 to Marie Parrish and William Venison. She passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
Gloria had three beautiful daughters Sherrie, Tracy, and Robin Venison.
In the early 80’s, Gloria resided in Houston, TX where she worked at NASA in Project Management. Upon coming back to Maryland, she became a dedicated school bus driver for Montgomery County Public Schools where she retired.
Gloria loved to write. She would write stacks of letters on topics she was passionate about. She made beautiful hand-sewed pillows. Everyone would get a personalized pillow.
Gloria was known to everyone as Grandma or Aunt Jean or Jeanie… just don’t call her Gloria.
She cared for everyone and it was very evident in everything she did for others.
She leaves to cherish a host of family and friends that loved and adored her. A special thanks to D’Angelo Poindexter and Ariel Cheeks for their love, support and dedication over the years.
