Gloria Jean Peeples (87) a longtime resident of Miami, FL left this world peacefully in her sleep on August 1, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard H. Peeples, Jr, to whom she was married for 62 years. She is survived by her children, Thunderbyrd, Richard H. Peeples, III and Gregory Scott Peeples. Grandchildren, Richard H. Peeples, IV, Brett Michael Peeples and Lindsey Leigh Peeples. And great grandchildren, Sutten Blake Peeples, Richard H. Peeples, V and Emilia Jane Peeples.
Gloria met her husband, Richard, at the age of 15 and knew they would spend eternity together. They were married 5 years later at the age of 19.
Gloria, while in her 40s graduated nursing school and went on to have a wonderful 20 year career of taking care of people.
She was a loving mother to her children raising them in a firm but caring manner. She was always involved in all the children’s activities, from being a den mother to attending all knew you were in trouble when you heard, ”wait ‘till your father gets home.”
She will be dearly missed by her family and her many lifelong friends. She is at peace now in the loving arms of her husband and our Lord and Savior.
