Gloria Jean (Jeannie) Davis Soules, 78, passed from this life into abundant eternal life with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 2, 2023 after a lingering illness.

Jeannie was born on April 3, 1944 in Salisbury, NC to Hassel B. Davis and Alma Kincaid Davis; who preceded her in death.

Besides her parents She was also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Davis, two infant brothers, and a grandson, Andrew T. Davis.

She attended East Rowan High School and received her High School diploma through Hobe Sound Bible College, Hobe Sound, Florida, where she met the love of her life. Jeannie was a long time member of Trinity Wesleyan Church. She loved the Lord and was involved in Christian service all of her adult life which included Missionary work, Pastor’s wife, Children’s Church worker and in recent years she loved her card ministry. She was faithful in all that she did.

Left to cherish her precious memory with her husband are her three children; Michael Soules (Heidi) of Warsaw, Ohio; two daughters of Salisbury, NC; Maresa Davis (Ronald), and Melody Roberts (Robert); 10 Grandchildren; Daniel Soules (Julie) of Truckee, California, Travis Soules (Claire Paniccia) of Columbus, Ohio; Shandalin Dearth (Darin) of Salisbury; Ronald Aaron Davis (Meagan King) of Concord; Allen Davis (Katheryn) of Lexington, NC, MaKalah Davis (Travis Kaziah) of China Grove; MaKenna Lee (Ryan), of Rockwell; Skyler Davis (Charity Mcclamrock) of Salisbury; Shaelyn Roberts of Salisbury, and Aiden Roberts of Salisbury. Eleven Great Grandchildren: Ethan, Devan and Mady Dearth; Cody, Ella, Emma Davis, Andrew and Konnor Davis; Mavery and Jaxon Kaziah, and Emery Rose Lee. Also surviving are two sisters, Thelma Avore of Greeneville, Ohio and Sharon Mattingly (Dwight) of Hobe Sound, Florida plus many nieces and nephews.

The family will meet friends at her residence in Salisbury.
