She graduated from North High School in 1958 and married Wayne R. Davy on May 28, 1959.
She spent many years in the banking industry and worked for a local family owned company, Southwest State Bank. She loved country music and was always ready to go dancing. She loved collecting old coins and has the biggest collection of mice figurines in the state! She had a soft spot for animals and donated to local shelters. In her last years, she found new creativity in silk floral arranging and always had fresh roses from her garden arranged in vases around her home.
