Passed away Sunday morning, October 13, 2019. She was born April 22, 1926 in Martin County, IN the daughter of the late Lester and Marie (Baker) Hamilton. On July 27, 1947 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Ernest Shaw who preceded her in death on April 18, 2019.
Janice was a member of the Lighthouse Community Church and was employed for 26 years with the Van Buren County Health Department as a vision technician. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing crafts of all kinds. Janice was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Rainelle) Shaw, Rhonda Herron, Bradley (Fran) Shaw; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Joyce Kerns, Franklin (Mary) Hamilton, Dwain (Micky) Hamilton, June Burris, Charles (Donna) Hamilton, Glen (Sherry) Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews.
