Gloria J. Papineau, age 68, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Gloria was born on June 9, 1953 in Wisconsin Rapids to John and Patricia (Matthews) Knoll. She was united in marriage to Larry Papineau on October 14, 1972 in Wisconsin Rapids. They were blessed with 48 years of marriage before he passed away on November 6, 2020.
She worked for many years as a sales clerk at Wal-Mart in Wisconsin Rapids.
Gloria loved to write poetry on many different subjects. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and going on vacation with family and friends.
Gloria is survived by her son Craig and daughter Kim (Jeremy Bagnowski) Papineau; grandchildren: Trevor and Hailey; siblings: Rod (Deb)Knoll and Pete Knoll; nephews: Brian, Jeremy, Michael and Joe; and nieces: Chris, Kelly, Stephanie, Teresa, Melissa, Jessica, and Jenny.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Larry; sisters: Karen Cumberland and Valerie Williams; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Louis and Elvera Papineau; and brothers-in-law: Bill Williams and Dave Papineau.
