Gloria J. Gangewere, 75, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday May 12, 2018, while in the care of the St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Quintus C. and Bertha M. (Haldaman) Long. Gloria was a graduate of Liberty High School.
She worked hard her entire life to support her family. She worked for Synthetic Thread, and was a clerk for many years, until retiring from the former Almart, Jefferson Ward and Bradlee’s Department Store. Gloria enjoyed playing bingo, watching NASCAR Racing, and spending time with her family. Above anything, her grandchildren were her greatest love and inspiration.
SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Richard and his wife Lisa of Nazareth, Scott and his wife Christina of Allentown, John and his wife Donna of Bethlehem; daughter Florence Sabella and her fiancé T.K. of Easton; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Sharon Moyer and her husband Carl of Bethlehem; brother Arthur Long and his wife Gloria of Bethlehem Twp. She was predeceased by her son Alan Gangewere and brother Richard “Tiny” Long.
