She was born on June 21, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter Andrew and Christina Behrens Esposito. She married James H. Berlett on December 29, 1945 in New York City and he passed away in 1977. One infant brother also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons Kurt (Connie) Berlett of Washington, IL and James A. (Kathy) Berlett of Yorba Linda, CA. Also surviving are three grandchildren James H.
