Gloria was born on May 1, 1931 and died January 16, 2022. She was 90 years old.
She lived most of her life in San Antonio, TX, until 2017. Her husband died in 2014 and in 2017, she moved to St. Joseph’s Residence in Dallas where she resided until December 2019, at which time she moved to Carrollton to live with her son and wife until her death.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William (Bill) Haddock and her brother, Robert de la Mora.
She is survived by her children, Valerie Anne de la Garza, Eva Marie Musquiz and Albert Stephen de la Garza; grandchildren, Christina Wadsworth, Erin Gutierrez, Lacy de la Garza, Tracy Malanga and Sammy de la Garza; great grandchildren, Alexis Wadsworth, Garrett Wadsworth, Adrian Gutierrez, Asher Gutierrez, Julian Gutierrez, Benjamin Malanga, Luke Malanga and Siena Malanga.
Gloria loved antique shopping, attending fly-ins, air shows, steam shows and traveling. As a young lady, Gloria won many beauty contests including being Fiesta Queen in San Antonio.
She died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
