Gloria R. Covert, 81, died on February 15, 2005, at her home in Carrollton, GA. Mrs. Covert was born November 13, 1923, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of William and Alice Jacobsen.
She married Jerry Covert in October of 1943 and made her home in Harbor Country from 1949 until 1978. Mrs. Covert is known for her enthusiasm for life. She was an artist, a pilot, and an avid gardener and she traveled the world. She retired in Georgia but always considered Harbor Country her Home.
Mrs. Covert is survived by three children, Cameron Covert of Carrollton, GA, Kay Vandergrift of Modesto, CA, and Pamela Covert of Carrollton, GA, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Covert.
