Gloria Coleman Lewis of Germantown, Maryland went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, March 28, 2015. She was born on June 12, 1931 in Virginia to Richard and Hattie Coleman.
She received her education in the Virginia School system. She moved to Washington, DC and later to Germantown, Maryland. Gloria was blessed with a daughter, Glenda.
Gloria was a devoted and hardworking mother who enjoyed travelling and reading. She was always willing to listen and help others in need. She had the gift to make others smile.
Gloria will be reunited in heaven with family members who made the journey before her. Her parents Richard and Hattie, brothers Herbert and Logan, sisters Ruby and Annie Walker.
Left to cherish her memories is her loving daughter Glenda. Sisters Queen Harris and Barbara Coleman, nieces and nephews.
