Gloria C. Blewitt, age 90, of Southport, beloved wife of the late Roy E. Blewitt, Jr. passed away peacefully Thursday, November 13, 2014 in her home. Born in New York City the daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Carreras, she had been a Southport resident for the last 55 years. She graduated Cum Laude from Good Council College in White Plains with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Gloria worked in New York City and Chicago prior to her marriage to Roy. After raising her family, she returned to work as Assistant Comptroller and Credit Manager for the Jelliff Corporation in Southport.
