Gloria Brannan died on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 86.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Tierney, Rosemary Stakvel (George), Paula Hayden (Jeff) and Laura Wood; stepsons, Steven Brannan (Patricia), Joe Brannan (Echo) and David Rick Brannan (Candace). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Brannan; two sons, two sons-in-law; and one grandson.
Gloria was born in Dallas, Texas on September 12, 1935. She moved to Albuquerque in 1958. She spent many years as a clerk for Furr’s and in her later career worked as a secretary at an avionics firm. She was an avid cribbage and card player. She was an active member of the Church of Christ.
