Gloria A. (Walton) Devol, 77 of Kempton. Passed away on January 2, 2021 in Kokomo, Indiana, she was born on September 11, 1943 to the late James and Opal Walton in Noblesville, Indiana. Gloria was a graduate of Sheridan High School Class of 1961. Gloria liked taking care of others, so she earned her Certified Nurse’s Assistant Certificate. Gloria worked for Riverview Hospital ending her career at the Sheridan Nursing Home; she looked forward to going to work at the nursing home, she knew everyone there and enjoyed caring for all of them.
When Gloria was not working, she would be found watching cooking shows and trying some of the new recipes, she would watch on the shows. During football season she would be watching her Green Bay Packers play. She took pride each spring and summer in the garden she would plant and grow each year. she would spend hours in the kitchen canning. she even loved to fish and would go fishing every opportunity she could.
Gloria is going to be greatly missed by her family her sons; Kenneth Devol of Noblesville and Rocky Devol of Kempton. She was a loving grandmother to Cyrissa Devol and a proud great grandmother to Brooklyn and Maggie Sheppard. She is also survived by her siblings Cap Walton and Vicki Moore. Gloria is preceded in death by her partner Ronald Marcum, Little Tom, her sibling Ruth, Billy, James, Junior and Betty.
