Glenys Mae Wood, 88, of Berryville went home to be with her Lord, Monday, March 17, 2008 with her family by her side. She was born June 8, 1919 in Flippin, AR., the daughter of the late William Riley Robison and Anna Pearl Beaver Robison. On August 21, 1943 at Claremore, OK., she was united in marriage to Kenneth Webster Wood and to this union seven children were born. Glenys was of the Pentecostal faith and loved attending church services whenever she was able. She enjoyed knitting, canning working puzzles, eating m&ms and was always ready to go any time the car was started. She had a special love and devotion for her whole family and will be remembered for her sense of humor and her wonderful cooking. She is survived by four sons; Kenneth Michael and wife Joyce Wood of Urbanette, AR, Terry Olen and wife Jo Ella Wood Of Russellville, AR., Robert Glen and wife Natalie Wood of Rogers, AR., Rickey Lee and wife Deanna Wood of Berryville, AR., three daughters; Frances Jean and husband Carroll Smith of Berryville, Shelby Lou Ruth Wood of Berryville, Shelia Mae and husband Elbert Standlee of Oak Grove, AR., one brother, William Robison of Muskogee, OK., two sisters; Ruby Dixon of Catoosa OK., and Nina Armbrister of Twin Oaks, OK., 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Wood on April 4, 1978, as well as one sister, Jean Holt, one brother, Bert Robinson and granddaughter Alexandria Wood Doughty.
