Glenna Kay (Thompson) Carline departed this physical life on July 17, 2022. Glenna was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on March 4, 1933 to Louis Nymphus Thompson and Kathryn Salina (Datwyler) Thompson. She graduated from White Pine High School in Ely, Nevada in 1951 and attended BYU in Utah and the University of Denver. Glenna married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Felix Carline on June 12, 1955. 

The Carline’s love of the high country prompted them to live in the mountains above Boulder, CO and they made their home in the Nederland, CO area and in later years, also maintained a winter home in Sedona, AZ.  

In the early 1970’s Tom and Glenna formed Nederland Realty and Insurance in Nederland, CO and were Real Estate Brokers for the following forty years. Glenna was President of the Boulder County Board of Realtors in the early 1980’s and served as President of the Women’s Council of Realtors of the State of Colorado. 

Tom and Glenna retired to Sedona, Arizona where Glenna spent time painting, hiking, and socializing with their many friends. Glenna was preceded in death by her mother and father, her Husband Tom Carline, brothers Louis LeRoy Thompson and Jerald Ray Thompson, and sister Vanaye Neiderhauser.   She is survived by her two sons: Eric K. Carline of Littleton, CO, and Thomas G. Carline (daughter-in-law Michelle) of Grand Junction, CO; her sister Carol Schneidmiller; and, several nieces and nephews.  

The Carline family would like to thank all of the many families and friends and caregivers for their love and caring over the years.
