Born in Dallas, TX, the daughter of the late Charles and Jane Krumboltz of San Antonio, Texas, she was a 34-year Fairfield resident. She graduated from Alamo Heights, Texas Christian University with a double major in Middle Eastern and North African History and the University of Texas where she received her Masters in Petroleum Land Management.
