Glenna Jane Knight Flanigan, 72, of Sardis, passed away January 14, 2017 at the United Hospital Center.
She was born October 16, 1944 in Webster Springs, one of thirteen children to the late Harley S. and Pauline Stout Knight. Glenna was a homemaker, who loved raising her family and was a special grandmother for always being willing to care for the grand and great grandchildren.
Glenna is survived by one son Michael Flanigan and wife Debbie of Lexington, SC; four daughters, Marsha Anderson and husband Don of Sardis, Marilyn Young and husband Earl of Sardis, Mitzie Reider and husband Chuck of Lost Creek, Melinda Webster and husband Todd of King, NC; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-three years, Loren L. Flanigan and two brothers, Mayness and Jerry Knight.
