Glenn O. Henson, 70, of 1524 Sobieski St., La Salle died at home with his significant other of 24 years Carol Yeruski by his side on October 20, 2015.
Glenn was born in Sterling on May 22, 1945 to Vern and Eunice (Tomkins) Henson. He served with the US Army. Glenn retired from the Illinois Veterans Home at La Salle. He loved to travel with Carol all over the world. He enjoyed going to the gambling boat, fishing, and taking walks.
Glenn is survived by his significant other Carol Yeruski of La Salle; one daughter Liane (David) Layhew of WI; 11 grandchildren; Carol’s son John Yeruski of Clinton, and his four children who Glenn loved as his own; three brothers Richard Lee Henson of TX, Harlan Henson of Washington DC, and Terry Eugene Henson of Rock Falls; one sister Cathy (Danny) Bethard of DeKalb.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Keith LaVern and Charles Henson.
