Glenn M. Morris was born May 15, 1937 to the late Ruth and Glenn Morris in Auburn, New York.  In 1967, Glenn moved his family to California to join his parents and for work purposes. He passed away unexpectedly, May 20, 2016 in Alameda.

He is survived by his loving companion of 17 years, Marilyn Rogers; his children and their spouses, Sharon (Dan) Thomas, Kathleen (Ronnie) Bince, Michael (Rose) Morris, and Bill (Monica) Morris; he also leaves to cherish his memory, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild due in July, as well as his first wife, and now loving friend, Irene (Bill) Thomas.

Glenn earned a Bachelors’ in Economics and his Masters’ in Counseling/Psychology. Amongst other jobs, Glenn was most proud of his work as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. In retirement, he enjoyed working at Alameda Theatre – playing such roles as Santa Claus, Werewolf, Dracula, and especially as “Carl Fredrickson” from the Pixar animation movie “Up”.
