Glenn Gramstad of Alameda, CA passed away peacefully on March 3, 2017. Glenn was born on July 20, 1928 in Climax, MN to Leonard and Olga (Estenson) Gramstad. He graduated from Climax High School and worked at various jobs across the United States before serving his country as a deep sea diver in the US Army. He married Mercedes Pratt on Christmas Eve in 1962 in Eureka, CA. Glenn’s specialized work in construction took him to countries and adventures all over the world.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lemar Gramstad, sister, Doris (Gramstad) Hegland, and his loving wife, Mercedes (Pratt) Gramstad. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Barfuss, of Winner, SD, three nephews, three nieces, and numerous cousins.
