Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Hill Godfrey and Ada Mae Godfrey; son, Michael Godfrey; brother, Larry Wendell Godfrey; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Godfrey. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathy Godfrey of Dalton; sons and daughters in law, Brett Godfrey of Powder Springs, James and Penny Morris of Powder Springs, John M. and Peggy Morris of Cleveland, John R. and Connie Morris of Cleveland; daughters and sons in law, Tammy and Tony Cabrera of Knoxville, Mistie and Timothy Moore of Dalton, Lucinda and Mike Smith of Adairsville; sister and brother in law, June and Bob White of Dalton; niece, Crystal White of Dalton; nephew, Shon Godfrey of Dalton; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
